When someone you love dies, we want you to know you are not alone. Our Bereavement Journey group offers a safe space to meet with others. You can share your experiences, find comfort from others who understand your loss. You can learn some tips from how they are coping.

We talk about:

  • Understanding Loss: Losing someone important is hard. It’s normal to feel a deep sense of loss.
  • Exploring Emotions: It’s okay to feel many emotions, like sadness and confusion. Allow yourself to feel them.
  • Managing Anger and Guilt: These feelings are common. We talk about how we can deal with strong feelings.
  • Dealing with Others: People might not always know how to help. Set boundaries and tell them what you need.
  • Adjusting to Change: Life will be different. Take it one day at a time and be kind to yourself.
  • Hidden Grief: Sometimes grief appears later. Pay attention to your feelings and seek support if needed.
  • Moving Forward: Healing takes time. Do small things that make you feel better and consider professional help if needed.
