Job Description
We are currently looking for experienced people to join our Bank Health Care Assistant’s Team. Bank work is casual/relief work offered on an ad hoc basis, as and when there are shifts available. However, we do ask that you try and complete one shift per month to keep up to date with changes and developments within the department.
You must be able to provide high standards of holistic care to all patients, respecting dignity, and privacy at all times. It is essential you can demonstrate how you have skills in caring for patients who are terminally ill. The successful candidate(s) must have excellent communication and listening skills and have a sympathetic and understanding manner. The successful candidate will be required to undertake pre-employment checks before any appointment is made.
Qualifications Required
Applicants must have NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
Experience and Skills
Applicants must have a minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience in a Hospital/Community/Care Home Sector setting.
