Evora Hospice is calling on the local community to get behind its ‘Big Bucket Collection’, which takes place in many towns, villages and stores throughout the Southern Trust area.
Big Bucket 2026 will take place on 20 March 2026 and takes place in Coalisland, Dungannon and Portadown, plus Armagh, Newry, Warrenpoint, Camlough, Kilkeel, Banbridge, Rostrevor, Lurgan, Castlewellan and Crossmaglen.
With an aim to raise £40,000 for Hospice services, the hospice is seeking volunteers to make the collection a ‘big’ success. Funds raised will enable the Hospice to continue providing specialist palliative care and support to people living in the Southern Trust area. £40,000 could fund two weeks of 24-hour inpatient nursing care for up to 14 patients.
