Our dedicated Walk Organiser and Hospice volunteer, Deborah Kennedy, is proudly celebrating the 35th anniversary of this much-loved event — an occasion that continues to inspire participants to challenge themselves while raising vital funds for our local Hospice. As in previous years, the walk will begin promptly at 12.00 noon at Newry Cue Club (Basin Walk, Newry BT35 6HU). From there, participants will follow the Newry towpath to Steenson’s Bridge and back, covering approximately six miles in total. Refreshments will be provided at the halfway point, offering walkers an opportunity to rest before returning to the Cue Club. Complimentary parking will also be available at the Basin Walk car park on the day of the event.
