Local Hospice Launches £2 Car Raffle to Support Families Across Armagh, Down & Tyrone
Evora Hospice Care has launched its 2026 Car Raffle, offering someone the chance to win a brand-new Renault Clio for just £2 — but the real story is the difference each ticket makes for people facing some of the hardest moments.
For many, the word hospice can feel frightening. One local patient, who asked Evora to share her experience publicly, wanted to challenge that fear.
Those fears dissolved the moment I walked through the door. For the first time since my diagnosis, I didn’t feel like a condition or a case. I felt like myself. The empathy shown to me was overwhelmingly beautiful… Evora offers contentment at a time when life can feel anything but settled. It is a place of dignity, warmth, understanding, and humanity.
Her words reflect what Evora Hospice strives to provide every day: comfort, compassion, and expert care for people across Armagh, Down, and Tyrone — and support for families who should never have to face these moments alone.
The Annual Car Raffle is one of Evora’s most important fundraising efforts. While one supporter will drive away in a brand-new Renault Clio Evolution 1.0 in Ceramic Grey, every ticket purchased helps fund specialist nursing care, emotional support, and the reassurance families rely on. This year’s raffle is supported once again by Shelbourne Motors and Buttercrane Shopping Centre, Newy.

Or to enter via the direct mailing entry route, you must return the entry form and tickets you received via the post. Tickets will also be sold in Buttercrane Shopping Centre, Newry as well as select venues across Down, Armagh & Tyrone.
